Cameron Proulx is a game designer, level designer, and 3D environmental artist studying at George Mason University. He is a passionate gamer and a continuing, long-time learner of what makes games fun. Cameron knows firsthand the level of discipline, skill, and passion involved in creating a truly enjoyable gaming experience, whether it's virtually on the screen or right on the tabletop. Putting smiles on players' faces has always been such a rewarding feeling for him, and he can't wait to become an even more knowledgeable and experienced developer who continues to do so to an even larger degree.
Cameron worked as the lead designer of RatLab Studios, the student-formed game development team behind Campus Cook-Off. He also won 1st place in the Interactive Application & Video Game Design competition at the 55th annual SkillsUSA Virginia State Leadership Conference & Skills Championship. Alongside Porter Seals, they took home the gold medal by impressing judges with their short, physics-based platformer game Punch-Off.
Cameron holds a Career Studies Certificate in Game Design & Development from Rappahannock Community College. In Fall 2026, he will graduate from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Computer Game Design.
